Winchfield House

Winchfield HouseThe house

Winchfield House is privately owned and very much a luxurious family home. The house was built in 1760 and is Grade ll listed.

This delightful Georgian house was recently renovated and is filled throughout with exquisite family antiques, furniture and glorious paintings.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable with imaginative fabrics used throughout to stunning effect.

The gardens

The gardens at Winchfield House are extensive. They cleverly combine the essence of space, grandeur and beauty with privacy and intimacy. The cedar tree next to the house, standing at over 100 ft, offsets the white painted house perfectly.

The lake in the grounds is stocked with carp and there is a heated swimming pool together with a conservatory.

It is often possible to watch the Dressage riders performing in the arena within the walled garden.

Special occasion

Winchfield House is a perfect venue for that special occasion, whether it is a Wedding or Civil Marriage Ceremony, a special birthday or anniversary, a private lunch, dinner or drinks party, a corporate away day or a totally unique event of your making. It would even make a choice location for a film or television set. The possibilities are endless.

You can discuss with Henrietta and Andrew your own special requests, and decide if you want to simply hire the grounds for a reception or take over the whole of Winchfield House and ‘move in’ for the period of your event.

Should you choose to do this, you will be rewarded with the peace of mind  and quality in-house support that comes with being ‘on site’. You will also be able to enjoy the entire ambience such as the beautifully decorated rooms and happy personal hospitality.
